I am from Jamaica, an island in the Caribbean Sea, located in the Greater Antilles chain of islands where I was raised by my grandmother. She stresses the importance of cleaning and making our bed every day. I later then moved to the United States and joined the navy where they also instill cleaning, discipline, pride and professionalism.
